Insurance Reform To Protect Residents
We need to ensure our residents are protected before, during, and after a natural disaster. No one wants to wait weeks, months, or years to have their home repaired or replaced. We need to ensure there is affordable flood insurance, with no ability for the insurance carrier to deny a claim during a disaster.

Protecting those who have protected us!
I grew up in a strong military family, with my father who was active duty and did two deployments. I promise to always fight for the active duty and veterans, who serve this great country for pennies on the dollar. We cannot allow our veteran families to be targeted by Washington politicians who want to cut funding and benefits to these great families.
For the first-responders, as a third-generation firefighter, I have worn the same bunker gear as you have. I know the toll it takes on you physically and mentally every time the pager goes off. The time away from family, the sacrifices you make during storms. I want to push for a tax-incentive for all first responders as a tax credit. I want to push for harsher penalties for those who assault first-responders and healthcare workers. I want the best police in the state, where community policing becomes the normal. Introducing an internal, fair, integrity board would hold each other accountable while increasing the public’s reception to law enforcement.

You need a strong leader who cant provide you frequent updates from the House, while also answering your questions you have about how votes could affect them and their families. I will provide full transparency and ask for your insight on how I should vote on critical topics. In my position, constituents always come first!
Affordable, fast, and fair flood coverage for all!
North Carolina has some of the most incredible beaches in the United States. Constituents move to the Outer Banks for the views, but what happens when a hurricane hits? We need to cap insurance premiums, while prohibiting insurance companies from denying disaster-related claims. I will push for instant repairs/rebuilding options while working with emergency management to pre-position emergency supplies prior to hurricanes and tropical storms!
Tuition give-backs for new CNA’s, LPN’s, RN’s, RT’s, EMT’s and Paramedics
When we’re sick or injured, we must rely on caregivers to help us. But as the past few years showed, we’re running out of healthcare workers. From toxic workplaces, to poor pay, we need to incentivize new and interested caregivers to replenish the amount we lost. Healthcare workers see the worst of the worst so the least we can do is give back to them.
We need to protect our disadvantaged constituents
Many constituents rely on a fixed-income within NC-3. What happens to them when a hot summer comes around and electricity rates spike up? I will push for cap rate hikes so more money isn’t taken out of their checks, while increasing the grace period for shutoffs on delinquent accounts during troubling times for them. A full review will be conducted to see how we can better our pre-existing infrastructure, highways, and bridges.
